What makes EPB Fiber Optics different from cable and other TV and Internet providers?

EPB Fiber Optics brings fiber optics all the way to your home, which means that you have access to virtually unlimited bandwidth. This means that you have incredibly fast Internet speeds available and virtually unlimited TV options including incredible picture quality, the ability to record up to 4 TV programs at once, including 2 in HD, and more.

Can I get a DVR on Fi TV Bronze or Fi TV Silver?

Fi TV Bronze and Fi TV Silver are analog options we offer customers as a courtesy, but are not the most advanced technology; therefore they are not compatible with our DVR service.

How many hours of SD and HD programs can I store on my Fi TV Gold DVR?

The storage capacity of your Fi TV Gold DVR is 120GB, which translates to either 30 hours of high definition programming or 95 hours of standard definition programming.

What if my remote control stops working?

If your remote control doesn't seem to be working, try pushing the button in the upper left-hand corner marked "STB" if you're trying to change the channel or operate your DVR or Video on Demand.  This should resolve the issue.

What is IPTV?

Internet Protocol TV (or IPTV) is what you’ll get with Fi TV Gold packages and it offers more options than older digital or analog technology. There are many benefits to IPTV including intuitive channel guide, the ability to watch your DVR from any room in the house that has a set top box, record four programs at one time on the DVR, Smart Search and others. Plus, countless features and options will be added in the future.

How many set top boxes can I have?

Each home may have up to six set top boxes. If you would like to have Fi TV on more than six TV’s in your home, we can connect them with Fi TV Silver, which does not require a set top box and will provide you with channels 2-78.

Is Fi TV compatible with TiVo?

The TiVo series 2 system is compatible with Fi TV Bronze and Fi TV Gold. However, the TiVo Guide and TiVo series 3 do not currently work with our system.

Do I need any special equipment if I sign up for the Bronze or Silver service?

No. A set top box is only required if you sign up for the Fi TV Gold package.

Where do I return my equipment after I have canceled my service?

EPB has three (3) separate branches available for equipment return. Hours of operation and addresses are as follows:

Is there any way to adjust the speed of scrolling program guide on my Fi TV Gold?

Currently, we do not have a way to adjust the speed. But for now, you may push the "Info" button on your remote control to bring up the entire program description on your TV screen.
